Witness the sun rise on the summer solstice from one of the most iconic Lakeland summits and then experience three of its spectacular five ridges, among the most renowned in the UK.

Overview

A truly unique mountain experience, the memories of which will last a life time. Start walking at midnight on the eve of the Summer Solstice and let us guide you under the light of headtorches to the summit of Blencathra (aka Saddleback) via Blease Fell to arrive at the 868 metre summit in time to witness the solstice sunrise. We will then proceed to walk along three of Blencathra's famous five ridges, Sharp Edge, Scales Fell and Halls Fell.
