Meet at Edale train station (west bound platform) 10am. Travel - train to Edale from Sheffield Station at 9:14am or Dore Station at 9:21am or park at Edale village car park or Edale station car park (both pay and display)

Guided walk round this renouned epic 23 mile challenge walk. Strong walkers will aim to complete this loop in 8 hours, 10 hours is an ambitious target, and a 12 hour completion is a worthy and more civilised objective! Ideal for a sponsored walk or just for fun. Shorter sections of the round can guided as a taster or training.

Overview

An epic route! Climb up Ringing Roger and follow the Kinder Edge path west past Grindslow Knoll, cross Brown Knoll which forms the head of the Edale Valley before following Rushup Edge and Lords Seat to Mam Tor. Then experience the aptly named Great Ridge to Lose Hill. Drop down into Hope Village (refreshements available at the Cheshire Cheease Inn) before making the ascent of Win Hill, down so called Win Hill Brinks, before completing the lap with a spectacular finish along Kinder via Jaggers Clough and Coffin Rock. Ideal preparation for an attempt of the even more challenging and lesser known Derwent Watershed round.....
